This section has been somewhat thin so far as we're usually far too busy doing stuff rather than talking about it! However a couple of interesting? recent developments gives me something to write about:
        - Pulley Box: people who take an interest in such things will have noticed that some vehicles notably Fiat 500's, Abarths and Pandas have very limited space between the grille, aircon/radiator. This means that either the brake cable has to make a very tight bend when entering the car, or the brake cable sticks out of the front of the car an unacceptable amount - some converters actually have brackets protruding from the front of the car!- or the cable is fitted under the car, waiting for the first "sleeping policeman." Obviously none of these are acceptable. Our novel solution is a 'pulley box' this consists of a stainless steel enclosure with a stainless steel pulley, round which runs a super flexible stainless steel cable! allowing the eye of the cable to sit flush with the grille when not in use, without any drag on the cable. (as seen in pics!)

The upside down A-frame:
A number of vehicles, notably new 'smart', 'twingo' and 'mini countryman' have a curious electrically operated 'louvre blind' mechanism which opens and closes dependent on temperature, unfortunately, these are fitted very close to the grille (about 25mm) in the case of the 'countryman' this leaves no space, even for our 'pulley box' mechanism. Some converters actually REMOVE these mechanisms!!! A system SMART Renault and MINI have spent a fortune devising. To avoid this drastic modification, we applied a little lateral thinking because our unique 'A-frame' is entirely manufactured by us  rather than being based on a proprietary trailer hitch, we were able to produce an A frame with the brake rod on the top, rather than the bottom this enabled us to fit the cable above the shutters, allowing the cable to follow an efficient gentle curve. A useful by product, is that it allows the cable to be accommodated behind the (quick release) number plate, both concealing it and the keeping it clean when not in use. ( Neat isn't it !!) - see pics -->
