We offer a refitting service for when you change your car, both for our own 'A' Frames and for others manufactured by Car A Tow, Chris Cox, Armitages, TowTal, Smart Tow

Chris Cox:
manufactured 'A' Frames for a number of years, but ceased trading some time ago. Many of his 'A' Frames are still in use. Due to the age of these, we offer an exchange system, where, in exchange for your (acceptable quality) Chris Cox 'A' Frame offer a fully refurbished hitch. The Chris Cox hitch will be dismantled, stripped of paint, the welds checked, then repainted to high spec finish, re-assembled, lubricated and modified to fit our TAF internal frame. We fit a TAF internal frame/purpose made brake cable/electrics etc. to your vehicle. Your Chris Cox hitch will have either modified or new 'jaws' that screw into the TAF internal frame. The TAF internal frame is the same as that fitted to our complete systems, and therefore provides a significant upgrade in every respect.

NB – For safety reasons we do not refit Chris Cox frames to cars weighing more than 850kg (kerb weight)
Armitages Trailers/CarATow, TowTal/Smart Tow:
We refit or offer a kit to refit your Armitages,CarATow/Towtal/Smart Tow hitch supplying modified parts as necessary. As for the Chris Cox, we fit our TAF internal frame etc. unlike many original fitments, we don't remove or use the crash beam, and there won't be any illegal, ugly lumps sticking out of the front of the car! WE do, however, need some dimensions from you prior to fitting date.
