Why you should get an A-frame

Motor homing is a great way to enjoy your holidays  whether you choose to stay on a posh site, certified location or wild camp. The only problem is that when you're parked up, possibly with awning erected and need to go to the shops/beach/picnic or any close location, packing up the motor to park it down again is a pain! Particularly if your journey requires you to use the narrow, winding  tracks for example in Devon, Cornwall or even Wales. It is also a hassle to be able to do things like parking at a supermarket or in a car park. The answer to this of course is to take a car to use as a 'tender' and the most simplest safest way of bringing a car with you on your journey is to have an A-Frame.

Traditionally, A frames are constructed using crude propriety trailer hitches, unfortunately this results in a bulky, awkward and heavy lump which requires a jockey wheel (with an increase of weight and cost) to make them usable.

Our lightweight "Integral" frame is the only purpose made inertia braked frame available anywhere in the world! We manufacture these with a variety of different jaw widths so that in most cases our stainless steel attachment bobbins fit neatly into the grille of the towed car, and they can tow up to 1250kg (standard) or 1500 kg (heavy duty)
Even better, the weight of our frames weigh around (12 and 14kg) around half the wight of our competitors whose frames weigh between 22kg and 29kg (plus extra on the jockey wheel. Due to this, we only need a (supplied) strap to support them when hooking up the A frame and when folded up ready for storage our A Frames are able to be fitted into a Austin or Morris Mini (for those of a certain age)!!!
